HANOI, July 29 — Vietnam welcomes the immediate and unconditional ceasefire agreement reached between Cambodia and Thailand yesterday, considering it an important step towards easing tensions and restoring peace, stability, security, and safety in the region.

Vietnam highly values Malaysia’s efforts as Asean chair 2025 in promoting and creating favourable conditions for peacefully resolving differences.

KUALA LUMPUR, July 9 — The accession of Algeria and Uruguay to the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia (TAC) provides a formal mechanism that allows both countries to engage more effectively with Asean, whether through multilateral or bilateral frameworks, said Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan.

KUALA LUMPUR, July 18 — Venezuela's Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs for Asia, the Middle East and Oceania Capaya Rodriguez González said her country is very keen on joining the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia (TAC) to forge a more productive relationship with the regional grouping.
